Waqar v Jadeja: A memorable duel

I still remember that day although not as vividly as i would like to. My love for Cricket was still at a nascent stage and there was this "MOTHER OF ALL CRICKET CLASHES": The India V Pakistan 1996 World Cup Quarter-Final.

As i came from school the match was in its middle stages. India was playing well, although the run rate was not very high. Then came Ajay Jadeja, at that time India's best fielder and a dangerous middle order batsman. The innings he played was an absolute peach, as he smashed Waqar Younis, that deadly toe-crusher, all over the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Of course, there was this memorable Aamir Sohail-Venkatesh Prasad rivalry that resiltes in Prasad clean bowling Sohail immediately after Sohail had smashed him through the covers for a boundary and had gestures with his hand that the next ball would also be a boundary.
